Freemuslim Inclusion Forum Expresses Discontent Over Events in Britain
The Freemuslim Inclusion Forum expresses its strong discontent regarding the acts of violence targeting Muslims in Britain, calling for the urgent need to quell unrest and restrain the racist organizations and groups that seek to fuel discord. Human rights reports from London detailed an attack and riots targeting Muslims following the accusation of a Muslim citizen of committing a murder that has not yet been proven in court.
Mr. Moujtaba Akhwand, Director of Freemuslim, emphasized that a country with such a rich history and diversity should be leading the world in promoting peaceful coexistence. He noted that his previous travels to the UK have shown him the great potential of its society. Mr. Akhwand urges religious minorities to use peaceful and legal approaches to achieve their goals, as these methods lead to better and longer-lasting results.
Increased diversity in society brings numerous benefits, including enhanced cultural richness, greater innovation, improved economic performance, broader perspectives in problem-solving, and strengthened social cohesion. To prevent discrimination and promote understanding among citizens, governments can implement inclusive education programs, encourage interfaith and intercultural dialogues, and enact and enforce strong anti-discrimination laws. Police and security forces can reduce tensions between people and the government by actively combating the spread of false news and fake news, engaging in community policing initiatives, and ensuring transparency and accountability in their operations.
The Freemuslim Inclusion Forum condemns the acts of violence and racist agitation by some internal parties for political or regional purposes. The organization calls on British authorities to hold all parties inciting hatred and violence accountable, regardless of their ideological and doctrinal affiliations. This approach is crucial as such actions pose a serious threat to domestic and international peace and security.
