A Call for the Formation of an International Fact-Finding Commission and the Prosecution of All Those Involved
The Global Nonviolence Organization ,FreeMuslim, submits this open letter, driven by its moral and human rights responsibility, to express its deep condemnation and profound outrage at the horrifying revelations contained in the documents related to the “Jeffrey Epstein” case.
What has been leaked is not merely a passing scandal; rather, it exposes a transnational criminal system that exploited political and financial influence to violate the innocence of children and the dignity of women in the most abhorrent forms of what can only be described as “modern-day slavery.”
The continued ambiguity surrounding certain names and those implicated sends a dangerous message: that power and influence can provide immunity from justice.
Accordingly, and within the scope of your respective authorities, we formally call upon you to take the following actions:
- Absolute transparency: Full disclosure of all details and names contained in the investigations, without selectivity or favoritism. The right to know is an integral part of justice.
- Establishment of an independent fact-finding commission: Comprising international legal and human rights experts to review the files and ensure that evidence is not suppressed or cases settled behind closed doors.
- Activation of cross-border criminal prosecution: Given the nature of the crimes committed, coordination with Interpol and international judicial authorities is essential to ensure the prosecution of everyone who contributed to, facilitated, or benefited from these criminal activities, wherever they may be.
- Provision of legal protection for witnesses: To ensure that the full truth comes to light, legal immunity and psychological and material support must be provided to victims and witnesses who may face threats from powerful and influential entities.
The Global Nonviolence Organization believes that “nonviolence does not mean silence in the face of injustice,” but rather confronting crime through the strength of moral and judicial law. The credibility of the international justice system is at stake today: it is either a victory for vulnerable victims or a surrender to the power of influential perpetrators.
We await concrete steps that will restore confidence in the concept of global justice and ensure that such repugnant crimes are never repeated.
