International Day Against Corruption
Corruption remains a major obstacle to absolute human development and prosperity, and it prevents the human element from ascending in the face of social, economic and political problems that accompany the movement of development and stability in various countries and peoples.
Some of its main factors range from tyranny, repression, deterioration of the standard of living, wars and other humanitarian problems. Freemuslim, Center for De-Radicalization & Extremism Prevention joins the international community on the International Anti-Corruption Day, which was approved by the United Nations on the twelfth of December of each year, as a reminder of the magnitude of the negatives that this phenomenon reflects on the human issue, and at the same time a starting point for confronting and preventing them
Without its continuity and limitation, the organization expresses its absolute solidarity with this important initiative, and its relentless pursuit through its cultural channels aimed at confronting all forms of corruption and its various titles. The organization stresses the importance of giving governments and human rights and humanitarian organizations a wider margin to confront the phenomenon of corruption through legal, cultural and educational channels capable of curbing this phenomenon rampant throughout the international community.
At the same time, it calls for supporting vulnerable peoples and societies by corrupt political regimes, especially in the developing world, and pushing governments in developed countries not to courtesy at the expense of human rights for political and economic goals punctuated by suspicious agendas.
