Terrorist Training Network in Indonesia
Freemuslim Center for De-Radicalization & Extremism Prevention strongly condemns any terrorist act regardless of where its done and who does it and grateful to the Indonesian authorities for uncovering a two-story house in Central Java used by a extremist group to train recruits for terrorist groups. Our sources indicate that this group has also planned the Bali bombings in 2002 which killed 202 women, men and children.
More than 96 young adults have undergone intensive training at the Gintungan house in Central Java according to Indonesian authorities, many of whom have been sent to Syria to join other terrorist groups alongside Al-Qaeda and ISIS. Their training included handling weapons, assembling bombs and other warfare related techniques. The discovery of the house and its dark history between 2011 and 2018 was made by Indonesia’s anti-terrorism squad, Densus 88, amid ongoing operations against terrorists since the shocking Bali bombings.
