Freemuslim DeRadicalization and Extremism Prevention urges the Turkish government to stop its military operations in northern Syria, warning of the repercussions of the hostilities and serious projections, especially on the lives and security of unarmed civilians.

We believe these unilateral operations launched by the Turkish state poses a serious threat to international peace and security and will directly contribute to prolonging the humanitarian crisis that the Syrian people are suffering. In addition to that, it consequently affects the social security inside Turkey.

We stress the importance of dialogue with the Syrian authorities and the search for diplomatic alternatives to reduce the risk of fighting.

Military action by the Turkish authority results in the displacement of tens of thousands of unarmed civilians. We call upon all neighboring countries, the Turkish government, the Syrian government, and other stakeholders to take action and come up with cooperative ways to end violence and reach achievable results.
