Assassination of Activist Karima Baloch
Freemuslim condemns the assassination of Pakistani activist Karima Baloch and ask Canadian authorities to uncover the reasons for this inhumane act. The late Karima Baloch is considered one of the most prominent activists opposed to the policies of Pakistani power, and one of the most prominent figures who were calling for political and administrative reform in Pakistan. The body of the activist was found near Central Island in Toronto, Canada.
The deceased had previously received several threats to limit her opposition political activities, while several her close associates were subjected to enforced disappearances, whose fate has not yet been revealed. The organization believes that the Canadian investigative measures are not up to the point of the event, which raises suspicion and calls for verification.
