President Trump’s Prisoner Pardon Decision

Freemuslim’s Center for De-Radicalization & Extremism Prevention  condemns the decision of  the US President Donald Trump and the judge to pardon the Black-water criminals who were convicted of committing the Falcons Square massacre in the Iraqi capital Baghdad in 2007, in which 17 civilians were killed in cold blood.

The organization affirms that the US amnesty represents a serious blow to international laws and a flagrant violation of human rights, especially as the decision is a blow to the laws that deter impunity, and a prelude to the commission of similar crimes in the future.

Therefore, the organization stresses the need for the US judicial authorities to intervene to prevent its implementation, pointing to the importance of not violating the rights of victims, which is represented by the perpetrators obtaining the presumed criminal penalties in the fullest.
