Bahraini Activists Face Death Sentence

Freemuslim Center for De-Radicalization & Extremism Prevention calls upon Human Rights defenders and the Amnesty International to save Bahraini activist from risk of death sentence.

More than twenty-five young activists in Bahrain may face most severe form of sentence any prisoner may ask for, especially if their imprisonment was due to human rights activism. These young activists face the death penalty following court ruling which was held privately. Bahraini courts face criticism by the international community for lack of transparency and integrity. There have been reports that prisoners were forced to take blames for crimes they have not committed.

We ask the Bahraini government to reevaluate the sentences for these prisoners and give them an opportunity to become contributing members of the society once again.
